The bay around the Baths of Aphrodite is often overlooked by tourists, but boasts some stunning scenery and for good measure there is even an island that looks like a prehistoric fish!

It is easy to get to the bay. Just park at the Baths of Aphrodite car park, and walk to the tavern. There are numerous sets of steps descending to the beach area, which is manned with a life guard. There are also showers and changing facilities, and the sea is ideal for snorkeling. It makes a great day out, as you also have the surrounding countryside and the baths to explore.
